Remember these?

Even though Precious Moments are not really my cup of tea, I just cannot get over the workmanship in these pieces.  Rather than try to frame them all, I decided to make them into a quilt.  There are 27 small blocks.  The designs are all different shapes and sizes, but all of them fit roughly into a 5 x 5 square.  So, in order to make them into blocks of all the same size, I have begun embroidering a frame around each one while attaching it to a coordinating piece of fabric, sized 6.5 x 6.5 inches.  This will allow me to put the blocks together with sashing, etc.  Here is a video of how the embroidery is done and a photo of some of the completed blocks.
