So Much to Tell You

Where is the time going? I hit the ground running on 1/1/2021 and never looked back. Whew! I have finally slowed down enough to journal about what has been going on around here. There has been lots.

First, client orders did not slow down much after Christmas. I am thankful for that, but wow, I have been busy. Here are just a few of the items that went out the door the past few weeks.

The bear was made from a wool overcoat and leather gloves. The center of the bow tie was the tag for the gloves. One of my favorite makes so far. Memory shirt pillows are still in high demand and longarm quilting clients are still requesting my services. I am pretty happy right now. LOL

The other reason I have been busy is this:

Scott setting up my studio for Youtube Live.

That is my amazing husband setting up my video cameras and software for streaming on Youtube. I have never been one to want to be in front of a camera, or even an audience, but for whatever reason, I feel the time has come to give this platform a try. It is my hope that I can pass on the knowledge I have acquired over the 40+ years I have been sewing to a generation who learns by watching and interacting via the internet.

My Etsy shop is a great place to check out the memory items I make.

And, finally, if you like to quilt, or are interested in quilting, please join my Facebook group, Scrap Quilting. We are having a great time over there inspiring each other to use all those leftover pieces. There is a mystery quilt in the works that will be totally free, even after the clues are all released. So, come on over and stay a while.

Until next time…
