I have been working on this one for about a month and finally got it bound, boxed up, and wrapped for my niece who is getting married in December. She is going with a “Rustic” theme for the wedding, so I thought that the fall colors in this quilt would make her happy. I titled it after a brief conversation with her on the phone one day when she said that they were going for “Rustic Elegance.”

She doesn’t know about the quilt, as it is a gift, but she did request that I make her a ring pillow for her little brother (4 years or so) to carry. I suggested a box instead and they loved the idea. Here is the result of that crafting adventure.
