This quilt is for a boy who is crazy about football and will be turning ten in November. His mother purchased a shirt for him each year to commemorate that year and now all 9+ have gone into this quilt for his tenth. What a nifty idea.

Great idea! I really like the backing material. Perfect for a young man.
The backing was a little nerve wracking. I had to make so sure it was straight on the frame before quilting it. I really love how it turned out. The plaid looks like flannel, but it isn’t.
