My father plays bass guitar in both a prison ministry and a nursing home ministry. He is an amazing servant, bringing comfort and joy to those he plays for and ministers to. He likes to be called Brother Dave for his ministry gigs, so that is where the name for this quilt came from.

I asked my step-mother, Shirley, for a photo of his guitar and this is what she sent.
